Nice find! A vintage Craftsman Farm Level Transit Surveyor instrument from Sears. The leveler is metal and glass with a wood tripod stand and metal cleats. The height adjusts to different heights and the entire instrument can be folded down to be stored in the wood storage box with leather strap. The kit includes: tripod and level instrument, storage box, manual, hanging weight and adjustment pin. In excellent condition, the wooden legs do have light signs of age related wear. A great gift for that special collector or treat yourself just for the heck of it!
